【英语财经】中国6月工业利润同比出现下滑 China industrial profits fall in June

Industrial profits fell last month in China, underscoring a broader slowdown in the world's second-largest economy.

Industrial profits fell 0.3 per cent year-on-year in June, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

They had risen 0.6 per cent year-on-year in May and 2.6 per cent in April. The monthly reading, which tracks earnings and balance sheets of an undisclosed number of firms, had started to stray into contraction territory towards the end of last year.

The industrial sector is on the frontline of a broader economic slowdown in China after years of fast-paced growth, with cheap labour and costs fuelling a boom in exports. GDP grew 7 per cent in the second quarter, exactly in line with Premier Li Keqiang's full-year growth target of "around 7 per cent" for 2015. China's economy grew 7.4 per cent in 2014.

今年5月和4月分别同比上涨0.6%和2.6%。去年底，追踪数量未披露的规模以上企业利润和资产负债表的月度工业利润数据开始收缩。

得益于廉价的劳动力和成本带来了出口繁荣，在经历多年快速增长后，工业领域处于中国更大范围的经济放缓前沿。今年第二季度，中国国内生产总值(GDP)同比增长7%，与中国国务院总理李克强为今年设定的“7%左右”的全年增长目标相符。去年，中国经济同比增长7.4%。
